Sunday School

If you have young children between the ages of 3-5, they're welcome to join our Sunday School class during the sermon portion of the service.  Parents/caregivers are encouraged to keep the children with the adults for the opening part of worship.  They are then dismissed and taken by a caring volunteer who will take the kids to the lobby area for Sunday School. You can then pick up your child after worship.

Children are important to us because they are important to Jesus. He has a special place in his heart for "the least of these," the young and vulnerable.  Children, in fact, are able to see God and his kingdom in ways that adults often fail to, so Jesus encourages us to embrace the posture of a child.

The vision for Sunday school is that children would learn Bible stories, sing worship songs, and enjoy engaging with God at an age-appropriate level. They will learn the basic stories of the Bible and be encouraged to think about the loving embrace of God, the Gospel message made known in Christ, and be encouraged to live out their faith through trust, kindness and obedience.

With your permission, children will receive a light snack.  If your child has any allergies or food restrictions, please let the Sunday School teacher know.  We have a rotation of volunteers who help out each week.
