Winter 2012 Community Groups
Community Groups are a great place to get connected at City Grace. Most of our groups are meeting in Manhattan and most are on weekday nights. Each group has a unique focus. See below to find a group that might meet you where you're at.
(NEW) Professionals Bible Study - study the Bible with Pastor Ben and others to explore more of what it means to follow Jesus and live faithfully as a disciple in the city's tough working environment.
Couples Group - join a community group with your significant other. Meetings weekly - talk to Kim or Jason for more details.
The Alpha Course - learn more about Christianity. Perfect for those curious about Christianity or for those desiring to learn the foundations of the Christian faith. Contact Betsy to sign up. Learn more about the Alpha Course here.
Chelsea Community Group - bible study on the Gospels with food and time for fellowship (i.e., good times). Contact Cyrus or Christine. Meetings weekly.
(NEW) Generous Justice - do you have a heart for the poor and a desire to see Christians live our their faith by seeking justice in the city? Study "Generous Justice" and join City Grace's social justice team. Meetings weekly. Plenty of service opportunities. Contact Hanne.
(NEW) Artists Accountability Group - put your head and heart together with other artists to receive encouragement and support for individual artistic endeavors. See here for more information.
Worship Planning Community Group - interested in worship, art, or prayer? Talk to Kyle to learn more about this group.
Project Mayhem - college students only. Contact Pastor Ben for more details. Activities include Bible study, discipleship "projects" and other fun stuff.
Team World Vision - train for a half-marathon in April! Support clean water efforts in Africa. Join Team World Vision or talk to Pastor Pete for more information.
