Welcome. Here’s a little bit about us.

City Grace is a small but diverse community of people who are finding new life in Christ, joining together in community and living into God’s mission.

Founded in 2007, we have been sharing the love of Christ with NYC ever since, believing first and foremost that God offers us salvation as a free gift of his GRACE, not something we can earn through works. We don't come to God in our perfection, but find amazingly that it is through our sin and brokenness that God’s power is revealed in us. In Jesus, God is liberating us from all the things that tyrannize us - addiction, pride, broken relationships and satanic powers of every sort. The good news of Jesus is that He Is Lord and holds us in his hands. He works miracles and sets us free in ways we never imagined possible. He is working out his purposes in this world and inviting all to put their faith and trust him and drink deeply from the well of eternal life.

Secondly, we are a diverse family. God calls whom he calls, and his body is as diverse as the many languages spoken in New York. We come from a variety of backgrounds - ethnically, geographically and spiritually. The power of God is revealed as this disparate group comes together in Christ and is joined together into a learning and growing community. We practice community by intentionally making relationships a priority despite our busy and hectic lives and gathering for prayer, worship and mentoring.

Thirdly, Jesus calls us all to be “fishers of men.” The invitation to receive from God is also an invitation to participate in Jesus’ mission and to be a channel of his blessing to the world. City Grace seeks to equip everyone to use their gifts in service to God’s kingdom and to spread the good news message to the whole world. We engage in mission both locally and globally and encourage integration of faith with work. Christ’s followers are to be a “salt and a light” wherever they go. We are empowered by the Spirit to be prophets, shepherds, teachers, evangelists and apostles. Together we build up the church of God.
